Exercise and Cycling Safety

Version 1.0.0-draft · Effective August 10, 2026

BiaVis cannot determine whether exercise is medically appropriate or whether a road, route, weather condition, event, or opponent is safe. You are responsible for deciding when and where to exercise.

  • Consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing an exercise program when appropriate for you.
  • Stop for pain, dizziness, faintness, chest pressure, unusual shortness of breath, confusion, or any condition that feels unsafe.
  • Do not look at, hold, or operate the phone while moving. Set up the activity before starting and use locked-phone capture.
  • Obey traffic law, signs, access restrictions, trail rules, helmets and other required equipment.
  • Use lights, visible clothing, hydration, weather protection, and a bike in safe working order.
  • Never use BiaVis while driving. Do not submit car travel as cycling activity.
  • E-bike users must declare electric assist before starting. BiaVis cannot conclusively prove bike type from phone sensors.
  • Group rides should publish an accurate meeting point, expected speed, route risks, regroup policy, and emergency plan.
  • Location can drift or drop out. BiaVis metrics are estimates and are not navigation or emergency guidance.

Call local emergency services for an immediate threat. Email safety@biavis.app for a BiaVis safety concern that is not an emergency.
